Baur History
1991
Foundation of Baur Folien GbR at the Ottobeuren site by Dipl. Ing. (FH) Josef Baur and Peter Baur.
1996
Expansion of the production area with the construction of a new manufacturing hall and production of the first double-membrane gas storage tank.
2000
Foundation of Baur Folien GmbH.
2006
The production area is expanded for the manufacture of double membrane gas accumulators and the company moves to its current location in Wolfertschwenden.
2009
Construction work continues step by step and, once completed, further storage space and additional space for offices, canteen and training rooms will be available.
2011
The production area is expanded and our range of services grows: Baur Folien Service GmbH is founded.
2020
The second generation takes over: Christian Schwank and Simon Baur strengthen the management team with fresh ideas. We look forward to continuing the success story together and look forward to an innovative future.
2024
In addition to another sustainable office building, which was celebrated with a party for all employees and the companies involved in the construction, the focus is also on the opening of a new production site in India.
We are becoming more global! The opening of the new production hall is accompanied by a traditional blessing. Trees are planted for growth, innovation and new beginnings.
